fools day derive

"April 1st: This is the day upon which we are reminded of what we are on the other three-hundred and sixty-four." — Mark Twain

calling all flaneurs, pranksters, urban explorers, poets, dreamers, situationists, magicians, scientists and the just plain curious or bored in the city....

please join us for some psychogeographic fun and games on yet another celebration of tactical frivolity, the wonders of mancunia and the world turned upside down.

we will be meeting 12 noon* at the monument to vimto (adjacent to UMIST building on altrincham street). this is the most splendidly silly statue we could think of in town - as opposed to those which are just plain silly

hope to see you there, we'll be off on an adventure by about 12.15 so if you're late or lost or want a natter about our plans please call the magic number
there was some confusion over who we were last time we met - new folk are always very very welcome, its usually easy to spot us, if in doubt i'm short with bright pink hair and a tiara so don't be shy

please bring an open mind, a sense of fun and clothing appropriate to the weather. be ready for a wonderful game...

love and daffodils

*thus cunningly avoiding jokes played on us... except those the universe see's fit to throw our way of course
